Petya, Petya, how could you! Exchange jurisprudence for a pipe! – the angry uncle of a negligent nephew, who quit the service of a titular adviser in the Ministry of Justice for the sake of serving Eutherpe, the patroness of music, was chastising with such words. The world does not yet know another such luminous music, who showed his talent at such an early age. Triumphal Prodigy. The phenomenon of children’s bright giftedness. Young Wolfgang sends us a signal from his 18th century: “Do not be afraid, my young friends, go ahead. Young years are not a barrier … I know that for sure. We young are capable of many things that adults don’t even know about. ” Mozart openly shares the secret of his phenomenal success: he found three golden keys that could open the way to the temple of Music. Songs of the Civil War: this is not forgotten …

Many people know the expression: “When the guns say, the muses are silent.” His rightness is relative. So, in the Leningrad blockade, the muses were not silent. On the contrary, the verses of Olga Berggolz and Nikolai Tikhonov helped people survive, and gave faith in victory. Nevertheless, quite often those verses and songs that are born directly in the thick of events are doomed to failure – there are too much hasty and emotional in them. And, on the contrary, when an event becomes history, it gradually recedes into the past, there is a probability of the birth of genuine poetic and musical masterpieces. This happened with songs about the civil war – some of them were born later than the events described. In 1924, the Estonian poet Nikolai Kool published in one of the newspapers the poem Death of the Komsomolets – a plain story about the death of a young Red Army soldier during reconnaissance and his farewell to a faithful horse.
