Passive Acoustic System

Passive acoustic systems provide a high quality of sound due to the use of powerful external stimulants. The quality of external vigilators is usually higher than those built into active acoustic systems. This is the main argument for passive acoustic systems. They also have other advantages.

Benefits of passive acoustic systems:
♪ Lower cost compared to active acoustic systems similar to capacity and reproduction characteristics.
♪ High reliability. When used with a vigiler to protect dynamics, tens and hundreds of thousands of hours are served.
♪ Simple design (shell, dynamics, crossover) with minimum electronic components.
♪ The external escalator has much more regulation and easier control than built-in.

With many advantages, the lack of passive acoustic systems is only one, the need for a strong acoustic cables. Okay, with the average power of the 200 W scanner on 4 Om, the cable should transmit the flow 50 A. The selection of the section of the cab shall be carried out, adding at least 20 per cent to the peak power of the AC connected. This limits the use of passive AUs in the sabvuffer channel, but for the medium and high-frequency section they are the best choice.

Choice of passive acoustics

It is recommended to make a choice in favour of two-way passives acoustic systems♪ A single-pole system is more appropriate to apply when a voice signal is to be transmitted rather than a musical signal. Lower frequency range for the most qualitative models - 45 - 50 Hz. Most people have 100 Hz. Both options require a quality sabotage. This describes the lower limit of the reproduced secondary frequency. The main requirement in the passive AU is the uniform AFC in the medium and high frequency strip.
